  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • oleo - 1/2 c
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • frozen hash browns - 2 lb
  • Add salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese

How to make hash brown potato casserole:

In a large bowl, melt oleo. Add salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese. Add hash browns; mix gently but well. Place in large casserole.Topping:2 c. corn flakes1/2 c. oleo1/2 tsp. paprika Mix well. Put topping on potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 hour (may take longer for potatoes to be tender) until bubbly.
