- pkg - 1 lb
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- grated cheese - 8 10
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- uncrushed cornflakes - 4 c
How to make hash brown potato casserole:
Lightly crush cornflakes; reserve 1/4 cup margarine. Mix other ingredients. Pour into buttered casserole. Mix crushed cornflakes and 1/4 cup melted margarine. Pour over other mixture. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. Do not cover.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
