Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
How to make hash brown potato casserole:
Mix ingredients in large buttered casserole. Top with 2 cups crushed corn flakes mixed with 1/4 cup butter. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Variation: I use the shredded hash brown patties (1 large box) instead of the cubed hash browns.
