Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/4 c
  • sour cream - 16 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • onion, chopped - 1/2 c
  • paprika to taste - 1 item
  • dill weed - 1/8 tsp
  • can cream of potato soup - 1 item
  • can cream of celery or chicken soup - 1 item
  • bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed - 1 (2

How to make hash brown potato casserole:

In large bowl, combine soups, sour cream, milk, onion, salt, pepper and dill weed. Stir until blended. Add thawed hash brown potatoes. Mix until potatoes are completely coated. Turn into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle evenly with grated cheese and paprika. Bake 1 1/2 hours until browned on top and bubbly.
