Hash brown potato casserole

Ingredients/Components

• sour cream - 1/2 pt
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• melted butter - 1/4 c
• chopped onion - 1/2 c
• can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
• grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
• crushed corn flakes
• black pepper - 1/4 tsp
• stick melted butter or margarine - 1/2 item
• thawed frozen hash brown potatoes - 1 lb

How to make hash brown potato casserole:

Topping:1 c. crushed corn flakes1/4 c. melted butter Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Pour into greased casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Then top with corn flakes and melted butter.

Topping: Mix and sprinkle on top of casserole. Put back in oven for 10 minutes.
