Ingredients/Components

  • frozen hash browns - 2 lb
  • sour cream - 2 c
  • grated Longhorn Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • small onion, finely chopped - 1 item
  • stick oleo, melted - 2/3 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • cornflakes - 2 c

How to make hash brown casserole:

Spray 9 x 13-inch casserole with Pam. Stir all ingredients together except oleo and cornflakes. Pour into casserole. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Crush 2 cups cornflakes and mix with melted oleo. Spread on top of casserole and bake during last 15 minutes of cooking time. Serves 6 to 8.
