Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- green onions, chopped - 2 item
- frozen hash browns - 2 lb
- can cream of chicken soup can use celery or mushroom - 1 item
- each: Jack and Cheddar cheese can use all Cheddar
How to make hash brown casserole:
In a bowl, mix sour cream, soup, butter and onions. Salt and pepper to taste. In 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish or 3-quart casserole, layer half of the potatoes, half of the cream mixture and 3/4 of the cheese. Repeat until all the ingredients are used up.
