Hash brown casserole



  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • green onions, chopped - 2 item
  • frozen hash browns - 2 lb
  • can cream of chicken soup can use celery or mushroom - 1 item
  • each: Jack and Cheddar cheese can use all Cheddar

How to make hash brown casserole:

In a bowl, mix sour cream, soup, butter and onions. Salt and pepper to taste. In 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish or 3-quart casserole, layer half of the potatoes, half of the cream mixture and 3/4 of the cheese. Repeat until all the ingredients are used up. Bake 1 hour at 350°.
