Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- melted margarine - 1/4 c
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- crushed cornflakes - 1 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- salt and pepper - 1/4 tsp
- cream of chicken soup - 1 c
How to make hash brown casserole:
Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan. Combine cheese soup, sour cream, onion, margarine, salt and pepper. Mix well; fold in hash browns and pour into baking dish. Toss cornflakes with margarine and sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 350° for one hour or until golden and potatoes are tender.
