How to make hash brown casserole:
Stir together soup, sour cream, hash browns, 1 bag of cheese, melted margarine and hot sauce (if desired). Put in a 9 x 13-inch (or equal quantity) pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until lightly browned on bottom and sides.
