Ingredients/Components
- sour cream
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- stick melted butter or margarine - 2/3 item
- bag hash browns - 1 (2
- cans potato soup - 2 item
How to make hash brown casserole:
Save enough of the grated cheese to sprinkle on top as a topping. (I usually use an extra cup of cheese.) Mix and pour into casserole dish or 13 x 9-inch dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.Optional: You can add mushrooms and/or meat (chopped ham) for variety. Can sprinkle bacon bits over cheese.
