Harvard beets



  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/3 c
  • beet water - 1/2 c
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp

How to make harvard beets:

Mix and cook 5 minutes. Pour over 2 cups freshly cooked beets or canned beets, sliced or diced. Keep beets and sauce hot until served. Add butter size of walnut before serving.
