- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- cooked beets - 3 c
- beet water - 1/4 c
How to make harvard beets:
Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch. Add vinegar and water; stir until smooth. Cook 5 minutes. Add beets to hot sauce and let stand for 30 minutes before serving. Add butter.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
