Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- cooked beets - 3 c
- mild vinegar or 6 Tbsp - 1/2 c
How to make harvard beets:
Cook and stir all ingredients except beets. When thick and clear, add the beets. Place pan over hot water for about 30 minutes. Just before serving, heat again and add 2 tablespoons butter.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
