Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- water - 3/4 c
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- light corn syrup - 2/3 c
- food coloring - 1 item
- flavoring cinnamon oil works well - 1 tsp
How to make hard candy:
Dissolve sugar in corn syrup and water in saucepan. Cook to 300° without stirring. Remove from heat and add flavoring and coloring. Sprinkle powdered sugar on wax covered cookie sheet. Pour candy over. Chill about 20 minutes. Crack and eat.Recipe categories: For large groups, < 30 mins, Food gift.
