Hamburger stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup undiluted - 1 item
- fresh mushrooms or 1 6 oz - 1 lb
How to make hamburger stroganoff:
Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Add meat and brown (if you drain off fats, you may need to add a little liquid). Add flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes. Add soup; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat through. Serve over noodles or rice. Serves 5 to 6.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Ground beef, Beef.
