- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 3 4
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped carrots - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- lean hamburger - 1 lb
- basil - 1/8 tsp
- cubed potatoes - 2 c
- chunked tomatoes - 6 item
- brown banquet sauce - 2 tsp
How to make hamburger stew:
Fry hamburger and drain grease. Combine rest in Dutch kettle on the stove and heat to boiling, then cover pan and simmer for 30 minutes. Take out bay leaf before serving.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Stew.
