Hamburger soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water - 6 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 2 lb
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- sliced carrots - 1 c
- elbow macaroni - 1 c
- savory salt - 1/8 tsp
- celery leaves optional - 1 c
- celery, sliced crosswise - 1 c
How to make hamburger soup:
In a large saucepan, brown meat with oil. Add salt, pepper, oregano, basil, savory salt and onion soup mix. Cover; simmer for about 15 minutes. Prepare celery, celery leaves and carrots, then add to simmering mixture and continue to cook for 30 more minutes. Add macaroni and carrots; simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
