Hamburger-noodle casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- catsup - 1 c
- hamburger - 2 lb
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- tomato juice - 2 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- noodles - 8 oz
- sliced olives - 2/3 c
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
How to make hamburger-noodle casserole:
Brown onion and hamburger. Cook noodles. Layer in large (9 x 13) casserole in this order: hamburger/onion, 1/2 cup catsup, 1/2 of noodles, 3/4 teaspoon salt, 1/3 cup sliced olives, 1 cup tomato juice, 1 can mushroom soup, 1/4 pound grated Cheddar cheese. Repeat once with same quantities. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes. Great for a large group. Also freezes well.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
