Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- chopped bell pepper - 1/4 c
- small cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- large container sour cream - 1 item
How to make hamburger casserole:
Brown ground beef, onion and bell pepper. Drain grease off of ground beef mixture. Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Let simmer 30 minutes. Cook noodles as directed on package. In a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, layer ground beef mixture, sour cream and noodles. Top with Cheddar cheese.
