- chopped onion
- catsup - 1/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- tomato sauce - 8 oz
- sliced carrots - 2 c
- barley - 1/3 c
- celery
- hamburger, browned
- bouillon cubes beef - 3 item
- large can tomatoes, cut up - 1 item
- a few bay leaves - 1 item
