Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • can tomato soup - 1 oz
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • warm milk - 1/2 c
  • medium potatoes, cooked - 5 item
  • 2 can or 2 1/2 c

How to make hamburg pie:

Cook onion in fat until golden brown. Add meat and seasonings; brown. Add drained beans and soup. Pour in 1 1/2-quart casserole, greased. Mash potatoes. Add milk, egg and salt. Spoon in mounds over meat mixture. Bake in oven at 350°. Serves 6.
