Hamburg pie
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- medium potatoes - 5 item
- warm milk - 1/2 c
- 2 can French green beans
How to make hamburg pie:
Fry meat until brown. Use some fat to brown onions. Combine with soup, beans, salt and pepper. Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Cook potatoes until tender. Mash. Add milk, egg, butter, salt and pepper. Fluff with fork. Spoon potatoes in mounds over meat. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
