  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • brown sugar
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • ground ham - 2 lb
  • fresh pork or veal, ground and mixed with ham

How to make ham loaf:

Sauce:3/4 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. mustard1/2 c. vinegar1/2 c. water Form ground ham, pork or veal, eggs, bread crumbs and milk into loaf and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.

Sauce: Boil for 5 minutes. Baste loaf with some of this sauce every 15 minutes. Sauce should be all used by the time the loaf is baked.
