Ingredients/Components
- milk
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- water - 5 c
- chopped ham - 2 3
- large potatoes - 4 item
- onion, diced - 1 item
- carrots, diced - 4 item
- stalks celery, diced - 4 item
How to make ham chowder:
Cook vegetables until tender and blend flour into milk. Simmer 10 minutes. Garnish with paprika and parsley. Add salt to taste. Serve with garlic bread and tossed salad.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chowders.
