Ham casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chopped ham - 3 c
- cheese - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- chopped bell pepper - 1/4 c
- can Butter Me Not biscuits - 1 item
How to make ham casserole:
Cook onion, pepper, margarine, flour, milk and soup together until it thickens. Put diced ham in casserole dish and sprinkle with the lemon juice. Pour cooked mixture over ham. Split biscuits in half and stretch as much as possible without tearing up. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. (I wait until it is about ready to take out of oven, then I sprinkle with cheese and let melt.) A good way to use up leftover ham.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ham.
