Ham-broccoli rolls
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour
- margarine
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
- mustard - 1 tsp
- grated onion - 1/4 tsp
- pineapple juice - 1/2 c
- slightly beaten egg yolk - 1 item
- horseradish mustard
- rectangular slices boiled ham - 2 item
- slices processed Swiss cheese - 2 item
How to make ham-broccoli rolls:
Top each ham slice with slice of cheese. Place half cooked broccoli on each. Melt butter. Blend in flour, salt, horseradish mustard, Worcestershire sauce and onion. Combine egg yolk and pineapple juice. Blend into butter mixture. Stir in milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly. Spoon about 1 tablespoon sauce over broccoli. Roll ham and cheese around broccoli. Secure with wooden pick. Place rolls in shallow pan. Cover and bake at 350° about 25 minutes. Spoon hot sauce over ham rolls. Makes 2 servings.
