Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- cooking oil - 3 Tbsp
- cornmeal - 1 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- chopped, boiled ham - 1/2 c
How to make ham and cheese muffins:
Preheat oven to 400°. Measure dry ingredients; mix together. Mix egg, milk and oil together, then add to dry ingredients until moist. Do not beat. Add cheese and ham. Drop batter by spoonfuls into greased muffin tins, filling 2/3 full. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately.Recipe categories: Quick breads, Muffins, Appetizers.
