Ham and cheese calzones
Ingredients/Components
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 2 c
- Ricotta cheese - 1 c
- sliced pepperoni - 4 6
- shredded Parmesan cheese optional - 1 item
- diced fully cooked ham - 2 c
- refrigerated pizza crust - 2 tubes
- meatless spaghetti sauce, warmed - 1 item
How to make ham and cheese calzones:
Unroll one pizza crust, stretching gently to make a 14 x 11-inch rectangle. Spread half of the Ricotta on half of the dough, lengthwise to within 1 inch of the edges. Sprinkle with half of the pepperoni, ham and Mozzarella. Fold unfilled side of dough over filled half and press edges together firmly to seal. Transfer to a greased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining crust and filling ingredients. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
