Ingredients/Components
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium head cabbage - 1 item
- lb butter - 1/4 item
- c crisco oil - 1/2 item
- Tbsp salt - 2 item
- large onion chopped - 1 item
- 1-16 oz pkg wide noodles
How to make haluski:
Chop up cabbage fine, mix with onion. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add cabbage and onion mixture and blend well. Add salt, pepper and crisco oil, saut?© until a little brown. Cook noodles according to package instructions and drain well. Add noodles to cabbage mixture and mix together well. Serve hot. Makes 6 servings.* Chopped kielbasi can be added for a casserole.
