Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 2 c
  • chopped onions - 1 c
  • mayonnaise - 1 c
  • white wine - 1 item
  • halibut, cut in serving size pieces - 3 lb

How to make halibut casserole:

Marinate halibut with white wine for 2 hours. Cover bowl with Saran Wrap. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise and onions. Remove halibut from marinade. Pat dry. Roll in bread crumbs. Place halibut in a single layer in low baking dish. Spread above mixture over fish. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 500° for 15 to 20 minutes. (Optional: Sprinkle with 3/4 cup grated cheese.) Do not overcook!! Another Alaskan treat.
