- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- baking powder
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- flavoring any - 1 item
- milk or 1/2 lb - 1/2 c
How to make half pound cake:
Cream the Crisco and sugar. Cream the eggs, one or two at a time with the mixture. Add the flour. Add the flavoring. Bake the cake at 300° on the bottom rack of the oven for just over 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, North american.
