Ground beef soup
Ingredients/Components
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- garlic powder - 1 clove
- sliced celery - 1 c
- uncooked regular rice - 1/4 c
- water
- cans tomatoes, cut up - 2 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- sliced carrot - 1 c
- can kidney beans, undrained - 1 oz
- beef bouillon cubes - 5 item
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- basil - 3/4 tsp
- frozen green beans or 1 can green beans, drained - 1 c
How to make ground beef soup:
Cook beef, onion and garlic until beef is brown. In large pot, put all ingredients except green beans. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 40 minutes. Add green beans, continue simmering for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, One Dish meal.
