Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • sour cream - 1/4 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1 Tbsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • cottage cheese - 1 c
  • cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
  • chopped green onions - 1/3 c
  • 4 c - 1/2 lb

How to make ground beef casserole:

Brown meat and butter. Add tomato sauce and set aside to cool. Cook noodles. Mix meat, cream cheese, sour cream, onions and green peppers. Put half of noodles in bottom of greased casserole. Add cheese. Mix and add balance of noodles. Do not stir. Add meat and melted butter on top. Bake at 375° for about 1 hour.
