How to make grits casserole:

Bring milk to boil; add grits. Cook over medium heat until thickened (8 to 10 minutes), stirring occasionally. Add butter, roll of cheese and salt. Stir until melted. Beat 2 eggs; add 1/2 cup milk and add grits mixture. Pour into well buttered casserole. Bake 30 minutes at 350°. Sprinkle grated cheese over top and bake 15 minutes more.
