Grilled tuna teriyaki



  • vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
  • each - 4 tuna
  • large clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • low salt soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • rice wine, dry sherry or rice vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • fresh ginger or 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp

How to make grilled tuna teriyaki:

In a large shallow dish combine first four ingredients. Put tuna in marinade. Turn over to coat. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.

Preheat broiler with rack 6-inches from heat. Discard marinade, pat tuna dry with paper towel and brush both sides with oil. Broil 3 minutes per side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Serves 4. Can also be done on a grill.
