Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- ground ginger - 1/8 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- plain yogurt - 1/3 c
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- onion powder - 1/4 tsp
- dried bread crumbs or bran - 1/2 c
- whole medium chicken breasts, halved and skinned - 2 item
How to make grilled chicken:
Mix crumbs and all 5 spices. Dip chicken in yogurt, then into crumb mixture. Brush grill with oil prior to cooking. Place chicken on grill over medium heat. Bake for 20 minutes; turn chicken and bake for 15 minutes.If broiling in oven, brush top of broiling pan with oil. Broil about 7 to 9 inches from heat (or at 450°) for 20 minutes; turn for 15 minutes.
