Green tomato relish

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• vinegar
• onion, chopped
• hot pepper, chopped
• to 5 pods garlic - 1 item
• firm green tomatoes, finely chopped

How to make green tomato relish:

In a large stock pot, mix ingredients and bring to a boil. After mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat. Pour into hot jars immediately (to prevent tomatoes from softening) and seal. Makes 8 pints.
