- brown sugar - 4 lb
- vinegar - 1 qt
- tomatoes - 1 pkg
- onions - 6 item
- mixed spices - 2 Tbsp
How to make green tomato pickles:
Slice and sprinkle with salt. Let stand overnight. In morning, drain and scald in water with some vinegar in it. Drain again. Then put in the remaining ingredients and cook until tender and can.Recipe categories: American, Condiments, etc., Vegetables.
