Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 1 c
- uncooked long grain rice - 2 c
- chopped green onion tops - 1 c
- chopped garlic cloves - 2 item
- mild or sharp Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 lb
How to make green rice:
Cook rice. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour in greased casserole (3-quart) and bake, covered, at 350° for 60 minutes. Serve hot. Yields 16 to 20 servings.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Pasta, rice and grains, Rice.
