Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- small jar pimento, chopped - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, sliced thin - 1 item
- potato chips optional - 1 item
- 2 can small peas or 1 pkg
How to make green pea casserole:
Saute celery, onion and pepper in butter. Add remaining ingredients, except potato chips. Bake in casserole at 350° for 30 minutes. Can crumble potato chips on top before serving if desired.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Casseroles.
