Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 1/4 c
  • water - 2 c
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • corn oil - 1/4 c
  • garlic salt to taste - 1 item
  • can tomato juice - 1 oz
  • cans stewed tomatoes - 2 oz
  • cilantro - 1 tsp
  • cans green chilies - 2 oz
  • pork steak, chopped

How to make green chili stew:

Cook pork in oil in skillet until brown, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with flour. Pour into crock-pot. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Cook on low for 4 hours or longer. Serve with flour tortillas filled with melted cheese. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
