Green chili stew
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 2 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- corn oil - 1/4 c
- garlic salt to taste - 1 item
- can tomato juice - 1 oz
- cans stewed tomatoes - 2 oz
- cilantro - 1 tsp
- cans green chilies - 2 oz
- pork steak, chopped
How to make green chili stew:
Cook pork in oil in skillet until brown, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with flour. Pour into crock-pot. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Cook on low for 4 hours or longer. Serve with flour tortillas filled with melted cheese. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Southwestern u.s., Stew.
