Green bean salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- bell pepper - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- can English peas - 1 item
- small jar pimento - 1 item
- can Blue Lake green beans whole - 1 item
- or 3 small red onions, cut in rings - 2 item
How to make green bean salad:
Drain beans and peas. Add chopped pimento, celery, pepper and onion rings. Heat sugar and vinegar. Cool. Add salt and Wesson oil. Pour over vegetables. Let marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator.
