- sugar - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- grated onion - 1/2 tsp
- frozen green beans - 1 pkg
How to make green bean casserole:
Cook beans until done. Make white sauce with butter, flour and milk. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream. Add remaining ingredients; add to beans. Pour into greased casserole. Sprinkle with 1/2 pound grated Cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Green/yellow beans.
