Ingredients/Components
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- bacon bits - 1/4 c
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1/2 c
- cans green beans - 2 item
- small can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- can French fried onion rings - 1 item
- liquid from beans - 1 c
How to make green bean casserole:
Drain beans. Place in casserole dish. Heat soup, liquid from beans and cheese, stirring until cheese melts. Sprinkle drained mushrooms and bacon bits over beans. Cover with cheese sauce. Cook in a 350° oven for 30 minutes. Crush onion rings and put on top. Heat in oven for 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Green/yellow beans.
