Green bean casserole



  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • can water chestnuts, drained and sliced - 1 item
  • cans French-style green beans - 2 item
  • cans French fried onions - 2 item

How to make green bean casserole:

Drain green beans and in a baking dish put a layer of green beans, water chestnuts, half of mushroom soup, 1 can of French fried onions, salt and pepper, another layer of green beans and rest of mushroom soup. Heat in oven about 20 minutes. Sprinkle rest of onions on top. Heat 5 minutes more; serve.
