Ingredients/Components
- oat flakes - 2 c
- wheat flakes - 2 c
- wheat germ - 1 c
- all-bran - 3/4 c
- unsalted soya nuts - 1 c
- sunflower seeds - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- nutmeg - 2 tsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- honey - 1/2 c
How to make granola:
Add vanilla to oil, honey, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt; mix well. In a large roasting pan, put the flakes, wheat germ, all-brand, nuts and seeds. Pour honey mixture over all. Put in oven at 300° for 10 minutes; take out and stir. Repeat every 10 minutes for 45 minutes. When cool, add 1 3/4 cups of raisins or any dry fruit and coconut.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Grains, Granola and porridge.
