Ingredients/Components
- cold water - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- honey - 1 c
- sesame seed - 1 c
- corn oil - 1/2 c
- sunflower seeds - 1 c
- raw wheat germ - 1 c
- uncooked oats not quick kind - 6 c
- pecans or almonds, blanched - 1 c
How to make granola:
Mix all dry ingredients; add blended liquid. Mix well; pour in large pan (heavy) and spread evenly. Bake in 250° oven for 2 hours. Stir every 15 minutes. Turn off oven; add nuts and raisins and allow mixture to cool in oven. When cooled, put in a tightly covered container. Store in a cool, dry place. Serve with meat or fresh fruit.
