Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- evaporated milk - 2/3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- white sugar
- Topping:1 stick margarine
- , with juice - 1 can
How to make granny cake:
Topping:1 stick margarine1/2 c. white sugar1 tsp. vanilla2/3 c. evaporated milk Preheat oven to 350°. Mix together first 5 ingredients and pour into a prepared 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix together chopped nuts and brown sugar and sprinkle over dough. Bake in a 350° oven for 35 minutes.During the last 5 minutes of baking time, simmer together topping ingredients in small saucepan. When cake is done, remove from oven and pour cooked topping mixture over cake.
