  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • milk - 3/4 c
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • large can sliced peaches - 1 item

How to make grandma's peach cobbler:

Melt stick of butter into 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Mix 3/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup milk, 1 cup flour and 3 teaspoon baking powder. Pour into pan. Mix 1 can sliced peaches, 2/3 cup juice from can (add water to juice if needed to make the 2/3 cup) and 1/4 cup sugar. Pour into batter. Do not stir. Bake at 400° for 40 minutes. Great with ice cream. Serve hot or cold.
