Golden potato casserole

sour cream - 2 c
butter or margarine - 1/4 c
salt - 1 tsp
pepper - 1/4 tsp
shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
chopped green onions - 1/3 c
medium potatoes - 6 item

How to make golden potato casserole:

Cook potatoes in skins; chill. Then peel and grate in large bowl. In saucepan over low heat (or in microwave), put butter and cheese; stir until melted. Remove from heat, blend in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper. Pour mixture over potatoes; mix well. Dot with butter and bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 8.
